I’m Coach Chris Raper. I thoroughly enjoy playing Pickleball .It’s a great sport and the pickleball community is great for all ages. 

A Little about myself: I’m 55 years young. I grew up playing baseball, football and basketball as soon as I can remember; as soon as I was able to throw a ball I was playing sports. I had an older brother who was 7 years older. While that give him an advantage, it in turn, gave me more desire to get better and try harder in life. I grew up living on the farm in the country of Wilson, NC and the hard work of helping my family in the fields and playing sports all my life, made me eager to instill work ethic and pride in my own kids. 

They are now grown adults but when they were young I coached my son in soccer and basketball. Similarly and simultaneously , I coached my daughter in softball and volleyball. I absolutely loved coaching so much that also during that time I also umpired baseball and refereed basketball simply because I thoroughly love sports and giving back to the community. I was even blessed enough to have umpired in one of Babe Ruth’s 14 year olds baseball World Series game. 

Pickleball is my focus now and I would be honored to have the opportunity to coach you.
